About the Tour:
This guided walking tour starts at the heart of historic Brighton, the entrance of the city Museum. From there, our walk will take us on a journey through Brighton’s history and pinpoint the moments where the Jewish community have been a central part of the administrative and commercial life of the city since the 18th century. We’ll traverse through the streets and ‘twittens’ of the Old Town, noting Blue Plaques to Jewish residents, and discover the near-forgotten sites of Jewish shops and schools at the heart of Brighton, and its hidden synagogues. This one of a kind tour is not to be missed!
