Honey Tasting Workshop

29 September @ 3:45 pm - 5:15 pm

£19.50
Another of our one-of-a-kind events not to be missed! Celebrate Rosh Hashanah’s tradition of eating honey to express hope for a sweet year ahead with this unique workshop. This premium, expert-led experience is the perfect way to see in the Jewish New Year.

About the workshop:
We extend a special invitation to join a unique biodiversity experience where we will savour a range of kosher honey and pair it with some simple food. This event will not just explore honey’s myriad hues and textures but also delve into our human sensory system to enhance our appreciation of delicious flavours. We will also acknowledge the vital role of honeybees in our ecosystem.

At the end of the session, you will receive your own individual jars of kosher honey to take away.

Host:
Lesley Crook, a Honey Sensory Taster with Jewish heritage, will guide us through this unique experience. Her active involvement in a Spanish volunteer beekeeper community is a testament to her knowledge and passion for honey and bees. Outside of her passion project, Lesley is a Microsoft Consultant who helps organisations with cultural digital transformation.
