Starting from the Angel of Peace Statue on the seafront, our Hove Walking Tour (with a Jewish Twist) will visit nearby sites of historic, religious, and cultural importance – including several of the city’s five functioning Jewish places of worship. We will hear fascinating stories about some of the Jewish personalities who lived in the area, plus details of major events that impacted the Jewish and wider Brighton population. About our Guide:

Marc Gardiner is an enthusiastic tour guide with a passion for the history and geography of the places that he visits. Originally a qualified accountant and now a part-time university lecturer, Marc has a Master’s degree in Modern Jewish History and is also an official City of London tour guide. He lives with his family in both London and Brighton.
