Seret Film Festival – Matchmaking

Welcome to the UK Premiere of Matchmaking, an Israeli romantic comedy directed by Erez Tadmor.

Premise: Moti Bernstein, a Yeshiva student and great Torah scholar, is reaching matchmaking age. As someone who is considered the most desirable match in the ultra-orthodox sector, Moti begins to meet the best girls of the sector in Israel and abroad, but when he encounters Nehami, the only girl with whom he will not be able to match due to her eastern origin, he asks Baruch Auerbach – an aging bachelor and the matchmaker’s personal assistant – to help him reach out for her.
