SUMMARY:A Big Honey Bakeoff
DESCRIPTION:A Big Honey Bakeoff \nThere is something about a kitchen full of people that just works. Flour everywhere\, someone burning the first batch\, kids licking the spoon. This Rosh Hashanah we are turning that into a community morning with a purpose. \nJoin us to bake honey cake together for the new year. Every cake you help make gets packaged up and delivered to Helping Hands\, so the sweetness goes straight out into the community. All ages\, all abilities\, no baking experience needed. If you can stir\, you are in. \nWhile the cakes are in the oven there is a play corner for the little ones with Rosh Hashanah books and objects\, and a card making table so kids can decorate the packages that go out with the cakes. You make something sweet\, someone else has a sweeter new year. That is the whole idea. \nFree to come\, but please grab a ticket so we know how much flour to buy. Tickets close Wednesday 2 September.

SUMMARY:Rosh Hashana - Link and Learn
DESCRIPTION:Learn together\, then walk to the sea. \nSunday 13 September 2026. \nLearning 4:30pm to 6pm. \nMincha 6:15pm. \nWalk to the seafront for Tashlich\, about 6:55pm to 7:45pm. \nBefore the new year properly lands\, we are getting the whole community in one room to learn together. Not a lecture\, not a service\, something for everyone at once. \nThere is a strand for every age. Nursery age little ones learning alongside a parent. Parents sitting down to learn with their teens. Couples in an interactive class of their own. And plenty more happening in between. You will find your corner. \nWhen the learning wraps\, we daven mincha together\, then we walk as a community down to the seafront for Tashlich. Standing by the water\, emptying our pockets\, thinking back over the year tha t was and forward to the one coming. It is one of the quiet highlights of the whole chag\, and it hits differently when you do it together. \nFree to attend. Let us know you are coming by Thursday 10 September.
