DESCRIPTION:Join us at BNJC as we gather to mark Yom HaZikaron\, Israel’s Memorial Day\, on Monday 20 April\, Doors open at 7pm\, and the Ceremony of Remembrance will take place between 8pm – 9pm.  \nThis immersive evening invites visitors to move through the space and encounter moments of remembrance through artwork\, poetry\, music and song. Together we reflect on loss\, memory and responsibility\, honouring those who have fallen and the lives they lived. \nThe evening will include Sharim Ve’Zochrim – Singing & Remembering\, a moving ceremony of music and reflection held in Hebrew with English translation. \nThrough shared remembrance we pause\, bear witness\, and ensure that the memory of those we honour continues to live within our community. \nYou are welcome to visit the immersive exhibition after the event in our events space until Tuesday evening.\n\nFree to attend

All proceeds from sales will go to a chosen charity. \nWhether you’re looking to refresh your wardrobe\, find something unique\, or simply enjoy a relaxed afternoon with friends and family\, everyone is welcome. \nCome along to browse\, donate\, or simply enjoy the atmosphere and help make this a meaningful community afternoon. \nWant to run a stall?\nIf you’re having a spring clear-out and would like to sell items\, you can book a free table and rail. Finish with pastries and coffee at YOFI while Bridget\, our Head of Nursery\, leads showrounds of the setting. \nEnds at 12:15pm \nShoresh means roots in Hebrew. Our vision is to give every child strong roots in Jewish life\, values\, and learning\, while equipping them with the knowledge\, skills\, and confidence they need to flourish. \nAt Shoresh\, Jewish life is lived rather than taught. It is present in the rhythm of the week\, the festivals\, and the way we care for every child.
