DESCRIPTION:Give your child the gift of Hebrew at our Sunday Ulpan Class for Kids!\n\n\nOur Sunday Ulpan Class for Kids is all about building Hebrew skills in a fun\, supportive environment. Designed for children aged 5–13\, this weekly session helps learners develop reading\, writing\, and speaking abilities through games\, songs\, storytelling\, and hands-on activities. \nWhether your child is a beginner or already familiar with Hebrew\, our programme supports their language development step by step\, encouraging fluency and confidence along the way. \nWith a focus on the Hebrew language\, each session also weaves in a cultural element\, introducing Israeli culture\, simple holiday vocabulary\, or Jewish festival-themed conversations. \nUlpan is more than just a class. It’s a space where children connect to the language of Jewish life\, grow in confidence and make new friends. \nClasses take place on Sundays from 9:30am – 11am. \n\n   Term 1: 14 Sep – 14 Dec 2025. No sessions: 26 Oct\, 2 Nov (Half Term)\, 7 Dec (Chanukah Party) \n   Term 2: 11 Jan – 22 Mar 2026. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meaningful Link & Learn experience as we prepare for Rosh Hashanah together. This is a chance to slow down\, connect\, and explore big ideas in good company. Whether you’re coming with a partner\, a parent\, a child\, a friend – or simply bringing yourself – everyone is welcome. \nLearning will take place in pairs\, small groups or solo\, depending on what suits you best. We’ll provide engaging source materials exploring the themes of Rosh Hashanah\, and you’re welcome to bring your own texts too. Alongside the learning\, there’ll be a table of traditional Rosh Hashanah treats to enjoy. \nAfterwards\, we’ll head to the sea for Tashlich – our cherished annual ritual of reflection\, where we symbolically cast away the past and make space for renewal in the year ahead. \nTimings: \n\n4.30pm – Doors open\n4.45–5.45pm – Learning session\n5.45–6.00pm – Summary of learning and shofar\n6.00pm – Walk to the sea\n6.20–6.50pm (approx.) – Tashlich by the sea\n\nThis is a beautiful opportunity for parents and children to learn side by side\, for partners or friends to connect in a thoughtful way\, and for individuals of all ages to enjoy a moment of quiet reflection and shared learning.
