Remembering With One Heart

On the second anniversary of October 7th, we invite you to join us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and unity.

This memorial is a chance for our community to come together — across backgrounds, traditions, and viewpoints — with one heart. We will mourn side by side, remember the lives lost, and stand together in hope for the future.

The evening will weave together art, history, memory, grief, and hope. Expect moving personal testimonies, music, film, and opportunities for shared expression. Together, we will honour the past, connect deeply in the present, and look forward to rebuilding with resilience and compassion.

Programme

• 7:00pm – Candlelit Procession from Palmeira Square
• 8:00pm – Commemoration Event at BNJC. Doors open from 7:30pm.

Everyone. This is an open, community-wide gathering. Whether you’re part of the Sussex Jewish community or a friend standing in solidarity, you are warmly welcome.
